1. Joining a Meeting:
    • Once you’ve entered the room name (Change (/camp-wi) to be more representative of your group/meeting (for example /renewables or /transportation)), you’ll be directed to the meeting room.
    • Allow Jitsi Meet to access your camera and microphone when prompted.
    • Click on “Join Meeting” to enter the conference.
  2. Meeting Controls:
    • At the bottom of the screen, you’ll find various controls:
      • Camera: Toggle your camera on/off.
      • Microphone: Mute/unmute your microphone.
      • Share Screen: Share your screen with other participants.
      • Participants: View and manage participants in the meeting.
      • Chat: Open the chat window to send messages to participants.
      • Settings: Adjust video and audio settings, including resolution and device selection.
  3. Managing Participants:
    • Click on the “Participants” icon to view a list of participants.
    • You can mute/unmute participants, remove them from the meeting, or promote them to moderator status.
  4. Sharing Your Screen:
    • Click on the “Share Screen” button to start sharing your screen.
    • Choose the screen or application window you want to share, then click “Share.”
    • To stop sharing, click on the “Stop Sharing” button.
  5. Chatting:
    • Open the chat window by clicking on the “Chat” icon.
    • Type your message in the chat box and press “Enter” to send it to all participants.
  6. Settings:
    • Click on the “Settings” icon to access video and audio settings.
    • Adjust camera and microphone settings, choose a different device if needed, and set video resolution.
  7. Ending the Meeting:
    • To end the meeting, click on the red “Hang Up” button.
    • Confirm the action if prompted.
  8. Additional Features:
    • Jitsi Meet offers additional features such as recording meetings and enabling live streaming.
  9. Security and Privacy
    • Ensure that you only share meeting links with authorized participants to maintain privacy.
